Bad journalism

 Last night I watched with horror as the Dallas massacre unfolded live on television. At first, the coverage was good. But then along came Brian Williams to take over as anchor. We were then treated to headlines proclaiming “Civil War” and a parade of commentators likening a sniper situation to Gulf War 2-like insurgent tactics. They wanted to make it seem like Dallas was at war.

I was disgusted.

Shame on the New York Post but more shame on Brian Williams and whoever the “expert” was he had on his show. What happened to the actual ex-cops providing actual wisdom who’d been on earlier? Too boring for Williams?
