I somehow managed to score 100% on this quiz, which asks you to identify cities by real-scale maps of their heavy rail systems. In my case, I think the information comes from riding enough subways to be able to eliminate possibilities when I did not recognize the city, but who knows? Anyway, it was fun, so here it is.
The Washington Metro was not, sadly, included.
I aced it too, despite never having ridden on most of them. A surprising number have topographical clues. In my case I think it's the masters in urban history - all that Sjoberg on urban form had to come in handy sooner or (in this case) later.
