A few posts back, I mentioned that Chris Christie appealed to me on the basis of his accent and body language. Did that somehow exclude people not from greater New York or not of Italian-Jewish-Irish descent? Nope. So when Tucker implies that the president was divisive back in 2007 because he ... well, what is Tucker’s reason?
Is the not-yet-president’s accent really different from his normal cadence? I can’t hear it. But I am from New York.
Anyway, even assuming that Tucker can hear something that I cannot, I am at a lost as to the problem with the putative accent switch. Is Tucker suggesting that putting on an accent when talking to a particular audience is un-American. It seems so, which would indicate that Tucker is a moron. That is all. I am sure my friend Bernard will agree. Reasonable people can disagree on the other stuff. Word to the mother. Enjoy the debate.
